Last updated: 2026-09-08. BrokenMeta.gg is an unofficial, player-made site showing real Teamfight Tactics statistics. This page explains what data is collected when you visit, why, and how to control it.

BrokenMeta.gg is an independent project, not affiliated with Riot Games. For any question about this policy or your data, see the Contact section below.

Data from the Riot Games API

Comps, rankings, champion and item stats come from Riot Games' official API (Match-V1, League-V1): this is already-public game data (ranked games, ladder standings), not personal information collected by Riot or BrokenMeta.gg beyond what the game already shows everyone. No account or login is needed to browse the site.

MetaScope (profile lookup)

When you type a Riot ID into MetaScope, that search is sent live to the Riot Games API through our own backend (a Cloudflare Worker) to fetch the matching profile and match history. The Riot ID you enter and the result returned are not stored on our servers: the request is handled on the fly and nothing is kept beyond the response time.

Analytics (Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager)

The site uses Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager to understand how it's used (pages visited, referrer, device, interactions like copying a comp or using the rank filter) and improve it. These tools set cookies and send data to Google, which may process it under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). None of this data is sold.

Right now, these tools load by default on your visit, with no consent banner yet -- a proper consent flow is planned.

Local storage

Your language choice (FR/EN) is remembered in your browser's local storage so you're not asked again on every visit. This stays on your device only and is never sent to our servers.

Processors and third-party services

• Hostinger -- site hosting.
• Cloudflare -- runs the MetaScope service (Workers).
• Google -- Analytics, Tag Manager, Google Fonts.
• Riot Games -- source of the game data (official API).

Retention

Analytics data (Google Analytics) is kept per Google Analytics' standard configuration. MetaScope searches are not retained (see above). The site runs no database of user accounts or profiles.

Your rights

If you're in the European Union, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, object to processing of, and receive a copy of (portability) your data. To exercise it, contact us (below) or file a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Since there's no user-account system, it stores no passwords or payment details.

Changes

This policy may evolve alongside the site (new features, new third-party tools). The "last updated" date at the top reflects the version in force.
