Simulate my character

Paste the BrokenMeta addon export: this page simulates your character's DPS with its real stats and weapons, then compares it with the best-in-slot (BiS) level-20 gear for its spec. Same engine as our DPS ranking.

How it works

Download the BrokenMeta addon and unzip it into World of Warcraft's _classic_beta_\Interface\AddOns folder, then restart the game. Download the BrokenMeta addon 0.5.2 (.zip)
In game, remove temporary buffs (they inflate the character sheet stats), then type /bmw export.
Copy the text with Ctrl+C, paste it below and run the simulation.

Addon export (/bmw export)

The simulation runs entirely in your browser: the export is never sent to any server. It contains no character name and no realm. The first run downloads the Python engine (about 11 MB); later runs are instant. To help improve the simulator, you can anonymously share the addon's measurements from the Share my data page.

What the simulation does not model yet

Only level 20 (the beta's current cap) is calibrated: above it, rotations and spell ranks no longer match.
The export carries all your talents, but the simulator only applies the few talents whose numeric effect is sourced.
No mana regeneration or shortage, no wand, no Warlock pet: the same limits as our DPS ranking.
Stats come from the character sheet at export time: an active buff skews them.
