The crafters directory in the addon (made-up characters).

Find an available crafter

The directory of crafters who run the addon and set themselves available, across your whole realm and faction, whatever their zone.
Their race, level, professions with skill level, and a short message ("weapons and armor, bring your mats").
Their recipes: one click to see everything a crafter can make, with the game's tooltip.
Item search: type an item name, the directory keeps the crafters who can make it.
A Whisper button to message them yourself. The addon never sends a message for you.
Your favourite crafters: a star keeps them, even when they are not announced.

Offer your services

Open your profession window once: the addon notes your recipes.
In Broken Meta : Professions > My profile, write a short message and click Available.
Your announce is visible to everyone for one hour. The addon warns you before it ends: one click on Renew extends it.

Level a profession at the best price

The Leveling tab follows the optimal route of the profession guides, from your current skill.
Scan the auction house from the addon: every reagent shows its current price (vendor, AH or crafted, the cheapest).
For each step: the total cost, the cost of one craft and the crafted item's AH price, to know whether selling it pays for your leveling.

Broken Meta : DPS

Every item's DPS value in its tooltip, for your spec, computed by the site's simulator.
Your upgrades spotted in your bags and in the dungeons of your level, with the most rewarding dungeon.
Your personal stat weights: compute them on Simulate my character, then import them into the addon (redo it every 5 levels, the addon reminds you).
A character export to paste on the site to simulate your real DPS.

Install the addon

Download the .zip file with the button above.
Unzip it into World of Warcraft's _classic_beta_\Interface\AddOns folder: you should get a BrokenMetaWeights folder.
Restart the game completely, then click the sword button around the minimap (or type /bmw).

Frequently asked questions

Is the addon allowed by Blizzard?

Yes. It is free, its code is readable, and it automates nothing: every crafter announce comes from their own click, like with group-finder addons. Players contact each other by whisper, themselves.

Why must I click "Available" each time I log in?

The game only lets an addon post your announce after a click from you. So your availability resets when you log in, and an announce lasts one hour.

Does my data go anywhere?

No. The directory goes through the game, between addon players. Nothing is sent to the site unless you choose to share your data.

Why can't I see a friend who has the addon?

They need a recent version, your realm and faction, and to have clicked Available. Click Refresh in the Crafters tab.
