How this route is computed

Recipes shown in orange at your skill level are preferred: an orange recipe gives a skill point on every craft. Yellow or green recipes are only used to bridge a stretch that no orange recipe covers, and are marked with an asterisk.
A recipe is usable if a trainer teaches it or if its plan is sold by a vendor; the plan's price is added once. A plan that drops or comes from a quest is only kept as a last resort, marked 'plan to find'.
To pick the cheapest sequence, a reagent sold by a vendor is counted at its purchase price, and one you gather, craft or disenchant at its vendor resale value: this is a provisional yardstick, since the beta has no auction house prices. These amounts are not shown.
Recipes with a reagent that has no reliable price (quest items, items missing from the trade goods list) are left out, and so are transmutes, whose possible cooldown in Forever is not shown in the data.
A shortest-path calculation from 1 to the cap then picks the cheapest sequence, paying for each recipe once.

What the data does not say

No auction house prices exist in the beta yet: the sequence of recipes is chosen with a provisional yardstick and no gold cost is shown. It will be recomputed with real prices.
The number of crafts is a minimum: points from yellow or green recipes are not guaranteed, and the data does not give the chance of a gain.
Tools required by some recipes (hammer, enchanter's rod, etc.) are not counted in the cost.
Starting recipes with no source listed are counted as known from the start, to confirm in beta.
Values may change with the final game on November 4, 2026.
