WoW Forever: what Blizzard says about Shaman tanks and zones
In an interview led by JackedIQ, WoW Forever developers covered several community favorites. Shaman tanks are a popular topic inside the team, but not something officially being pursued for now. The collections menu will only show what you have already found, to keep the world's secrets. Some hidden items, like a sword that turns Mages into more of a battle-mage, may change how you play after launch. On new zones, nothing is off the table (Northrend, Pandaria), but the team is first asking what the best story to tell is.
What it means for you
- Shaman: do not count on a tank role at launch, it is not officially planned.
- Collections: explore, an entry appears only once you have the item.
- Hidden items: more playstyle-changing items may turn up after release.
- Zones: no new continent announced, nothing ruled out long term.
