Paladin: Verigan's Fist gets a new proc in WoW Forever
Buff in the latest WoW Forever build: Verigan's Fist, the level-20 Paladin weapon for the Alliance (Test of Righteousness quest), gains a proc effect, Holy Forgefire. Until now the Horde version, Wolfsbane, from the Old Fire-Eye quest for Forsaken Paladins, had a proc the Alliance weapon lacked.

Verigan's Fist: the new proc
- UP
Holy Forgefire: ignites the target in the flames of the Great Forge for 39 to 59 holyfire damage. - UP Damage is tripled against Fire and Earth Elementals.
- BALANCE Background: the Horde weapon, Wolfsbane, already had a flat-damage proc, against Worgen. Alliance players had asked for faction balance.
What it means for your Paladin
- The proc deals flat damage, so it weighs little in a Paladin's total DPS: it mostly closes a gap between factions.
- It is not simulated in our level-60 simulator: we give no DPS percentage.
- To compare with the other available weapons, see the Paladin guides.
Method: facts taken from the Wowhead article, rewritten; no simulation. The source does not state the proc rate.
