Feral Druid: the Wolfshead Helm nerf in WoW Forever
The latest WoW Forever beta build is a nerf to the Wolfshead Helm, the level 40 leather helm of the Feral Druid. In WoW Classic it granted Energy on every shift into Cat Form, which fuelled "powershifting". In Forever it works with Shifting Power: the bonus drops from 20 to 5 Energy, according to Wowhead.

Wolfshead Helm: what changes
- NERF Wolfshead Helm: the Energy bonus gained when you activate Shifting Power falls from 20 to 5.
- The helm no longer drives powershifting: Shifting Power converts mana into Energy without a macro, and the helm only adds a small extra.
What it means for your Feral Druid
- In Classic, the Wolfshead Helm was the best item in its slot for all of Classic and most of Burning Crusade: Wowhead notes many players did not want it to stay unbeatable. This nerf goes that way.
- The helm is still useful, but you should compare it with other level 40 helms rather than take it by default.
